Setting up in business

Available for: anyone wanting to start up a business in Harrow.

A business plan is central to your direction and your funding. So we show you how to write one through Harrow in Business’ Business Development Workshops.

These are half-day events designed for those planning a start-up or in the early stages of trading who want to prepare for or develop their business plans.

During the workshop, you will cover the key elements and processes of business planning. The day in particular focuses on market research, marketing, pricing and finance. The course runs from about 10am to 1pm, with breaks for refreshments.

The session enables you to:

• establish what questions you still need to answer about your proposed business.
• start testing the viability of your business idea.
• begin structuring the information and resources needed for a successful launch and survival in the early stages of trading.
