Lisa Newton
Tutor on the Bookkeeping made simple course at Harrow in Business

Lisa Newton always had a passion for money and business. She began her first business at the age of 14 selling hair accessories and clothing to staff and students at her secondary school.

Lisa's guru is 'Rich Dad Poor Dad' author Robert Kiyosaki. "I first saw him on Oprah,” says Lisa, “and he was going on about how important it is to be able to understand figures and read a balance sheet. He’s why I went into accounting in the first place!"

So at 16 she began her AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) studies, and then moved to London to do a degree at Middlesex University. She graduated with 1st class honours in Accounting. Since then Lisa has complete a Masters Degree in Investment Management at City University.

Now Lisa runs Boogles Ltd, a company which employs nine staff offering various accounting financial services to companies.
