Andrzej Warhaftig has been a self employed business advisor for 8 years. He spent 26 years in banking, and then moved to head up the consultancy division of a business support organisation. In his career he has been the CEO of a Chamber of Commerce and then Regional Sales Manager for an IT company. David has many strings to his bow, from selling antique silver in America to having his own chain of six fruit shops. He has also had a career in local government, as Brent councillor for Kenton Ward and Deputy Mayor of Brent. David has a B.A Hons in Social Sciences and has been an advisor for HiB since 1987. His specialist areas include retail shops, children’s nurseries, homes for the elderly, local government planning process, simple book-keeping, creation of business plans and cash flow forecasts. His emphasis is on practical skills rather than theory.

Simon worked at Freemans plc (retail Mail Order) from 1978 until 1998. Initially managing and regenerating the quality function, he moved over to project management on a wider front. This included taking two sections of the business through Investors in People and ISO 9000 before moving into the Human Resources Department. As part of that function he developed his project management role, reviewing the recruitment processes, revising the company staff handbook, setting up a graduate recruitment process and managing assessment centres for recruitment. He is a nationally registered Assessor and Adviser for Investors in People, Alexander trained coach, trained assessor / auditor for ISO 9001:2008 and qualified business advisor.
