The Harrow in Business Board comprises some of the most experienced business people in the local community.
They all have different backgrounds, skills and achievements with both large corporate and small businesses. Essentially they are all committed to supporting Harrow's business community.
Their role is to provide insight, expertise and to focus on the future direction of business support in Harrow.

Malcolm's expertise is in journalism and marketing, having trained in Fleet Street and managed press and PR for British Airways, He was a corporate manager for the BBC seeking Government and public acceptance of the licence fee and became head of customer service for BT. More recently Malcolm has designed and launched a range of local trades including a network of business centres in Pinner, Eastcote and Hampshire.

After many years in Further Education and Business Development in Harrow and Brent, Ana decided to set up her own consultancy in training and event management. She has both delivered and helped develop some of the training programmes as well as working as an adviser for Harrow in Business, particularly working with the disabled and disadvantaged, advising on the care sector, social enterprise, young enterprise and women entrepreneurs.

Alex Beard is the Sales and Business Development Director for Esterline Communications Systems, formerly known as Racal Acoustics. Alex has built up a wealth of experience in global business development with specific focus in the defence sector and is particularly interested in technical innovation, entrepreneurship and routes to market. Esterline is a world leader in military communications systems, supplying high quality, state-of-the-art, audio products designed to operate in the harshest military environments.

Andrzej Warhaftig has a long record of working with "not for profit" organisations. He is a trustee of a Muslim Women's charity, and a director of a Community Development and Finance Institution. Previously he was a director of Business Link, a Chamber of Commerce, two Enterprise Agencies and a national sports association (all companies limited by guarantee).

Ash Verma is a social entrepreneur, businessman and a former Civil Servant, with some thirty eight years of experience in various aspects of British Government policy, funding and programmes, especially those relating to: private/public sector initiatives; inner cities regeneration; economic development; enterprise and entrepreneurship in and around airport related economies; overseas trade; equal opportunities and corporate social responsibility.

Barry has worked in the financial services sector for 3 different banks and brings more than 25 years banking experience to the role, with the last 15 years spent helping small and medium sized businesses. He is currently a Relationship Director for RBS based in Harrow. Away from the office he enjoys watching a wide variety of sport, and travelling both within the UK and abroad.

Over 33 years service with Kodak limited in Harrow working in manufacturing development, manufacturing technical support and several operational management roles. Currently the Facility Manager for the Harrow Factory site and representing Kodak in the local community.

Following many years in the banking industry with HSBC; Chris is able to provide advice on commercial finance, business and financial planning, raising alternative sources of finance and debt counselling. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.

Keith is the portfolio holder for planning and economic development at Harrow Council and chairs the planning committee. After many years working as a chartered civil engineer he is now involved in recruitment.
