Harrow Enterprise Agency was formed 6th January 1983 as a Private / Public sector partnership between the London Borough of Harrow (Gareth Pryce) and Barclays Bank (Max Ayres) The Agency was launched by Lord Bellwin the then Minister for Local Government on the 18th January 1983 and the event was televised by Thames Television (who were on the Board of Directors) The services provided by Harrow in Business remain highly professional and are provided to clients at heavily subsidised rates. Harrow in Business is a NFEA (National Federation of Enterprise Agencies) approved Agency which receives special recognition from the Dti under the Financial Services Act 2000. Harrow in Business holds Customer First Accreditation in recognition of its commitment to customer service excellence. In addition, Harrow in Business has been assessed as a competent client-facing organisation under the nationally recognised Matrix Standards
