Harrow council is showcasing a promotional dvd, “Invest Harrow” to focus on the investment opportunities in the borough.’

This has been produced as part of a wider marketing and awareness campaign and as a vehicle for attracting overseas investment and strengthening bi-lateral trade between local businesses and their overseas counterparts, especially in India.

The launch on Wednesday 6th June at the Mumbai Gardens in Harrow will be supported by business partners, business support organisations and the UK Confederation of Indian Industry.

The dvd promotes and highlights Harrow as a place to invest in because of its good access to markets, good business environment, highly skilled workforce and its business friendly with an entrepreneurial community, amongst other attributes.

Councillor Ferry, Portfolio holder for Planning, Development and Enterprise said

“The key message here is that ‘Harrow Means Business’. We want to work co-operatively with partners to take decisions, get results that improve our Borough, and create new jobs and opportunities. Our aim is to get investors to see Harrow as a place with excellent infrastructure and opportunities, and as a place with a real commitment to making things happen.”

The video was produced with funding from the Mayor of London’s Outer London Fund to promote High Streets.
